Front Shop Manager

Teresa started at Fairways Pharmasave in 2005 and has enjoyed working at the store because of the interaction with the customers and the friendly environment. To add, even though Teresa is a city girl, born and raised in the heart of Toronto, she likes the small town feel that Fairways Pharmasave offers. Outside of work, Teresa likes watching movies, socializing with friends, and travelling.

Maher has been operating his pharmacy out of the same location since October 9, 1990. After all this time, his Pharmasave is one of only three original stores in the mall where he is located at Third Line and Upper Middle Road, in Oakville. His longevity at this one location brings him happiness because “I knew everyone as little children, and now those children are grown up and working and still come by to see me. Little children who used to sit here on the counter are now engineers!” Maher says that when you have customers this long, you become a part of the family. Maher got his BSc in Pharmacy and has enjoyed putting that degree to good use.

Shady has been working at Fairways Pharmacy since 2011 and appreciates how the customers and staff have embraced and welcomed him. “The people are pleasant and have good stories from their travels” he says. Shady enjoys helping people to live well, and is pleased that people are assisted by his advice – “people put a lot of faith in their pharmacist.” Shady graduated from the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Albany New York, and enjoys playing basketball, golf, eating out at restaurants, and working out.

Pharmacy Technician

Kim has worked at Fairways Pharmasave since 2006 and has been an important part of the team since her arrival at the store. After a career in accounting, Kim decided to change direction and was trained as a Pharmacy Technician through Pharmasave’s in house training program. Kim has been doing this for five years now and enjoys helping all the customers who come through the front door. Because she is a local, these customers are often friends and family. Outside of work, Kim enjoys swimming and sitting in Shea lounges by the pool.
